Frequently Asked Questions

Detailed answers to common queries about flying with Royal Air Maroc from the UK.

Bookings & Payments

You can book directly on our website by entering your departure city (London Heathrow, London Gatwick, or Manchester) and destination. Alternatively, you can call our UK-based support team at 0203-002-0671 to book over the phone.

Minor spelling corrections (e.g., "Jon" to "John") can usually be made by contacting our helpdesk. However, transferring a ticket to another person entirely is not permitted due to security and airline regulations.

We accept all major UK debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and bank transfers for group bookings. All transactions are securely processed.

Baggage

Passengers on Standard Economy fares are allowed one cabin bag weighing up to 5kg (max dimensions 55x35x25cm). Passengers on Flex fares are permitted one cabin bag up to 10kg. In addition, you may carry a personal item (handbag or small laptop bag).

Excess baggage fees vary depending on the route and the weight of the bag. It is always cheaper to pre-purchase extra baggage online via "Manage Booking" or by calling our UK team, rather than paying at the airport.

Yes, standard airport duty-free bags purchased after security screening in the UK are accepted in addition to your standard cabin baggage allowance, provided they contain liquids in compliant, sealed security bags.

Check-in & Airport

Online check-in opens 48 hours before your scheduled departure and closes exactly 3 hours prior to departure. You can check in via our website or the Royal Air Maroc app.

We recommend arriving at London Heathrow, Gatwick, or Manchester at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure to allow sufficient time for bag drop, security, and boarding.

British citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business stays of up to 90 days in Morocco. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay. If you are connecting to another country via Casablanca, you may need a transit visa depending on your nationality.

Flight Changes & Status

You can check real-time flight status on our website by entering your flight number or departure/arrival cities. We also recommend enabling SMS or email notifications during online check-in to receive automatic updates.

For flights departing from the UK or EU, you may be entitled to care (meals, accommodation if overnight) under UK261 regulations depending on the length of the delay and the distance of the flight. For specific compensation claims, please contact our customer relations team.

Safar Flyer & Oneworld

As a Oneworld member, you can link your British Airways Executive Club or other Oneworld frequent flyer accounts to earn Avios or equivalent points when flying on eligible Royal Air Maroc flights. You can also earn Safar Flyer miles.

Yes. If you hold Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald status (or are traveling in Business Class), you and a guest can access applicable Oneworld lounges at London Heathrow, Gatwick, and Manchester prior to your Royal Air Maroc departure.
